Planning an event at The Center?

Deposits & Payments
Is a deposit required?
Yes. A non-refundable deposit equal to the room rental fee is required to reserve your event date. Your deposit is applied toward your final event balance.
When is final payment due?
Final payment is due prior to your event. We accept cash, credit cards, checks, and cashier's checks.
What happens if I cancel my event?
Payments made toward your event are non-refundable. Any cancellation should be submitted in writing to your event coordinator.
Food & Beverage
Can I bring my own food?
No. Outside food and beverages are not permitted at The Center.
Can I bring my own cake or desserts?
Yes. Clients may bring their own desserts. Please let your event coordinator know in advance.
Decorating Your Event
Can we decorate the venue?
Absolutely! Decorations are welcome but must be approved by The Center before your event.
Are there decorating restrictions?
For the protection of our facility:

No tape, nails, or staples

No confetti

Coordinate flower or balloon deliveries with your coordinator

Complimentary in-house decorations are available for client use
Event Day Information
How long is my event?
Your reservation includes up to six hours of event time. Additional setup or teardown time may be available for an additional fee based on scheduling and staffing.
When do we meet before the event?
A final planning meeting is scheduled no later than two weeks before your event to review details and finalize your plans.
Additional Venue Policies
Is smoking allowed?
The Center is a non-smoking facility. Designated smoking areas are available outside.
Is security required?
Events with more than 75 guests serving alcohol require a Stow Police officer.
Can guests access the kitchen or bar?
For safety reasons, only The Center staff may enter the kitchen and bar areas.
